In a lengthy post on social network X (formerly Twitter), Cardi B revealed chilling details about the alleged manipulation, threats, and emotional abuse that lasted throughout their relationship.

Private Texts Revealed: Creepy Threats and Sick Control
Cardi B claims that Offset sent her multiple death-threatening messages, including threatening to kill her and another man whom Offset suspected was Cardi’s new lover. One text shared by Cardi reads:

“If I see you two together again, I swear I’ll kill you both. I’m not kidding, Belcalis.”

The comments, according to Cardi’s attorney, are being filed as part of a domestic violence and death-threatening complaint.

Stalking and Controlling Behavior: Life Under Offset’s ‘Ghost’
According to Cardi, after the couple separated in early 2024, Offset secretly hired people to follow her, track her phone, and use anonymous accounts to monitor her social media activity. “I couldn’t go anywhere or say anything without feeling like he was watching me,” she wrote.

Cardi says Offset texted her frequently with “hurtful and controlling” messages, demanded to know her schedule hour by hour, and wouldn’t let her communicate with any men — even business partners.

Revenge porn allegations: A crime under investigation
More seriously, Cardi B accused Offset of distributing intimate images of her without her consent — an act considered revenge porn and a crime in many states. The rapper said the images first appeared on an anonymous account and then spread across social media in June. She said only Offset had access to them.
